Exciting News for Aspiring Construction Management Leaders!   The CMAA North Texas Chapter proudly presents the 2024 Annual Scholarship Program, extending a warm invitation to all eligible colleges and students.

This year, we are thrilled to award a total of $25,000 in scholarships to fifteen (15) outstanding applicants. The top five best-presented applications will each receive an impressive $3,000!!!! Selection Criteria

  • Students must reside in the State of Texas
  • Students must have good academic standing as demonstrated by official university transcripts and meet all application requirements.
  • Compose an essay that articulates the student’s passion and commitment to pursuing a career in the field of Construction Management. Share insights into post-graduation plans, detailing how the student envisions contributing to the construction industry. Highlight the student’s current involvement and engagement within the construction field. Conclude the essay by persuasively conveying why the student believes he/she is a deserving candidate for the CMAA scholarship award.
  • Students graduating prior to the Fall semester of 2024 are NOT eligible to participate.



important Dates

  • Application Deadline: April 5, 2024
  • Notification of Award and Gala Award Invitation: April 19, 2024
  • Gala Award Ceremony: May 16, 2024


Post-Selection CRITERIA

  • Following selection of the CMAA Scholarship, the recipient will be expected to maintain an active alliance with CMAA as well as active involvement with the CMAA student Chapter where available. 
  • As an involved professional, the recipient will be expected to demonstrate his/her involvement in the Construction Management Industry by maintaining continued education with CMAA, preferably seeking CMIT (Construction Management-in-Training) education.
