 Please Join CMAA this Friday, on this once in a lifetime site tour where we will be getting a sneak peak at the Mill Creek Drainage Project. This project is a 5-mile long storm drainage tunnel that is 30-35 feet in diameter. The tour includes a safety briefing and brief project presentation prior to beginning.

All participants will have to sign a wavier and be wearing PPE (steel toe boots, vests, hard hats, eye and ear protection). The city of Dallas does have extra PPE but please be sure to bring your own if you can. Once the waiver is signed, we will be going down the 120ft deep shaft to the tunnel where we will see the tunnel boring machine and the open 40 by 40 ft cut of the Austin Chalk Limestone Formation!

Please note due to the safety concerns at this project site if there is inclement weather or any other concerns the tour will be delayed or cancelled. Please see the flyer, profile and layout for more information.
