A Sneak Peek of the FWISD 2021 Bond Program & Opportunities

Brian Johnson has more than 20 years of experience in the construction and program management industry. Brian’s extensive career is almost solely in the K-12 education market, having managed bond programs for the second largest school district in Texas. Brian has served in roles such as Deputy Program Director, Program Administrator, Project Manager, Estimator, and BIM Engineer for numerous design and construction projects.

MARISOL GOMEZ

Marisol Gomez currently serves as the Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Coordinator for Fort Worth ISD’s 2017 & 2021 Capital Improvement Programs (CIP). She oversees the outreach, advocacy, and compliance efforts of the CIP to ensure that maximum opportunities are accessible for Small, Disadvantaged, Minority and Women-Owned enterprises in the CIP’s Contracting. 

ROBBIE THOMPSON

Robbie Thompson is a licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Construction Manager with 19 years of experience in construction management, design, and oversight for education, aviation, transportation, healthcare and water/wastewater sectors. Robbie is on the National Board of Governors for the Construction Manager Certification Institute, which provides the credentials for professional Certified Construction Managers. Robbie also plays a huge role with investing and giving back to the community: participating in career days at Dallas Independent School District; participating in Fort Worth Independent School District’s Vital Link Partners Council Advisory connecting youth with industry partners; and volunteering exposing students into careers in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.
